Production Supervisor at Central Valley Glass & Screen, Inc. – Sacramento, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to optimize production workflow.
• Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production output, and employee performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Provide training and development opportunities for production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in the glass industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
