Job Description

Are you a technical project management expert with a passion for custom machinery and cross-functional leadership? EMT International, a leading provider of digital finishing solutions, is seeking a Engineering Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exact customer specifications. In this position, you will lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of custom finishing machine projects, from concept to installation.

Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans through the full project lifecycle, from initial engineering and design to final installation and customer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with the customer, engineering, manufacturing, service and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of project milestones.
  • Ensure all machine designs meet customer specifications, industry standards, and performance expectations
  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and cost objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, change orders, and installation procedures.

Engineering Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the manufacturing of capital equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple custom projects, balancing engineering, manufacturing, and client expectations.
  • Experience with CAD software, ERP systems (Epicor), and project management tools.
