Position: Skinner, Case Setter, DrainerLocation: Salt Lake City, UT
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $25–$40/hour (based on experience)

As a Skinner, Case Setter, Drainer, you will work as part of a skilled team to install, assemble, and prepare commercial refrigeration systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise in the field. From setting cases to draining systems, you’ll ensure every project meets SRV Refrigeration’s high-quality standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Install and assemble refrigeration cases, skins, and drain lines with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare systems for operation by ensuring proper drainage and assembly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Inspect and test components for proper function and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and project managers regarding project progress and challenges.
- Experience with commercial refrigeration case installations (preferred but not required—training provided for the right candidate).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Capable of bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to work on rooftops and in commercial environments.
