Managing Consultant (Multiple Positions) Washington, DC at Edgeworth Economics LLC – Washington, Dist. Columbia

DUTIES:

• Perform qualitative and quantitative research
• Build spreadsheets and models with principal directions, independently perform complex calculation, and handle large, complex data sets.
• Lead the review, summary, and analysis of industry trends and academic research
• Lead analyses and reporting for various projects
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses through rigorous data checking processes
• Present results of analyses to colleagues and clients
• Collaborate with team members to design and build quantitative models and apply econometric analysis to economic and financial data
• Serve as a guide and resource for project implementation
• Work closely with the economic testifying expert to draft memos and expert reports
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls
• Present data in an informative, attractive and understandable manner
• May take initiative to creatively and independently find information sources or data

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in economics, statistics, or related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in economic consulting and/or economic analysis OR Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in economics, statistics, or related quantitative field and demonstrated knowledge of economic analysis.

Qualified candidate must possess any amount of experience with or demonstrated knowledge* of:

• Analytical or statistical software (e.g. SAS, STATA, R, SQL and/or Python or similar).
• Applied statistics and econometrics

*Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and / or experience.

Hybrid position; eligible for part-time telecommuting.

SALARY: $114,000 - $131,000/year
