WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Porter, you will help keep the sales and service departments running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include vehicle logistics, lot organization, and general maintenance. Porters ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and positioned where customers and staff need them. You will also greet service customers, record initial vehicle information, and escort them to a service advisor.

WHAT ARE THE KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Moving and parking cars on the lot to maintain an orderly layout, maximize space, and ensure display vehicles are easily accessible.
• Pulling vehicles up for sales associates, setting up demonstration cars, and parking them when test drives conclude.
• Transporting sold vehicles to detail bays, gas stations, or directly to the customer's home or office.
• Picking up vehicles from other dealership locations, auction houses, or dealer-trade locations.
• Parking customers’ cars when they drop them off and retrieving them from the lot once their service or repair is complete.
• Occasionally driving customers to their home, workplace, or another local destination while their car is in the shop.
• Performing quick washes, vacuuming interiors, wiping down windows, and applying tire shine.
• Checking and topping off essential fluids, including windshield washer fluid, oil, and coolant, and jump-starting dead batteries.
• Applying buyer guides, pricing stickers, and temporary license plates to new and used inventory.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour. Based off experience, qualifications, and education.
