Finance Team
Our Finance Team manages the full spectrum of financial operations, including accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and compliance, so Aurrera Health can plan resources effectively and continue its mission to improve healthcare systems. What You’ll Do
As the Accounting Operations Partner, you’ll own the accuracy and reliability of the books that everything else depends on, working independently as a senior individual contributor alongside our Director of Finance & Accounting and Finance Business Partner.
- Own monthly close: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and supporting schedules.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable: vendor records, invoicing, collections, aging, and cash application.
- Support payroll cycles: new-hire and change setup, deductions, tax filings, and share in execution of payroll cycles.
- Prepare and manage transactional invoicing in coordination with the Finance Business Partner.
- Administer expense reimbursements, vendor onboarding, and year-end deliverables: W-9/1099 processing, W-2 support, and related reconciliations.
- Maintain documentation and drive process improvement: SOPs, checklists, cross-training, and automation ideas that make our systems more reliable over time.
- Performs other responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the position as business needs evolve.
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree + 10 years of related work experience OR bachelor’s + 6 years.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and demonstrated experience independently applying accounting policy across close, AP/AR, and payroll, including identifying unusual transactions for escalation.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP/accounting system.
Preferred
- Experience in a professional services or project-based environment.
- Experience supporting external audits.
Location:
Aurrera Health Group is a fully remote organization, and candidates from all areas of the country are encouraged to apply. Occasional travel to company events, meetings, and client sites may be required, but the primary workstation for this position will be remote.
As a national firm, the Aurrera Health Group team works across four time zones.
Compensation and Benefits
Aurrera Health Group offers competitive salaries based on industry standards and experience, skills, and responsibility. We maintain equitable pay bands for employees based on these factors. The starting pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, with an opportunity for an end-of-year bonus.
