This is a strategic account management opportunity supporting the growth of an expanding retail media platform and its enterprise retail partners. The role will own a portfolio of strategic accounts from onboarding and enablement through adoption, growth, and long-term relationship management. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping partners understand advertising capabilities, improve campaign performance, and identify opportunities to generate incremental revenue. The position combines relationship management, data analysis, technical product knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product, Business Development, Finance, Ads Quality, and other teams to resolve issues and turn partner insights into actionable improvements. The role also offers the opportunity to strengthen account management practices through playbooks, QBRs, KPI frameworks, and scalable processes. This position is well suited to an experienced account manager who can combine commercial thinking with analytical, technical, and relationship-building skills.

Accountabilities
  • Own a portfolio of enterprise retail media partners end-to-end, building trusted relationships and supporting their onboarding, adoption, retention, and long-term growth.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner's business, objectives, challenges, and advertising strategy to provide relevant recommendations and strategic guidance.

  • Lead onboarding and enablement for new retail partners, including training on campaign tooling, demand sourcing, reporting, invoicing, and related platform capabilities.

  • Drive adoption of additional advertising placements and new product capabilities by clearly communicating their value and developing compelling incremental revenue opportunities.

  • Monitor partner KPIs and advertising performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate data into actionable recommendations and account strategies.

  • Build and maintain regular feedback loops with partners, providing Product teams with insights that can inform product development and roadmap priorities.

  • Manage billing, invoicing, revenue reconciliation, and related workflows in collaboration with Finance and other internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Business Development, Product, Finance, Ads Quality, and other teams to address partner needs and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Prepare and lead executive-level presentations, business reviews, QBRs, performance discussions, and strategic account planning sessions.

  • Develop and improve account management playbooks, processes, tools, and KPI-tracking frameworks to increase consistency and scalability across the partner portfolio.

  • Identify risks, opportunities, and growth areas within the portfolio and proactively develop strategies to strengthen partner relationships and business outcomes.

  • Manage multiple enterprise relationships and internal workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and execution quality.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management or a related field, with experience in ad tech, publishing, retail media, or a closely related industry.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise advertising solutions and partner relationships across the full account lifecycle.

  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand, communicate, and explain complex product capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong data-analysis skills, with the ability to interpret partner KPI data, identify meaningful trends, develop insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.

  • Experience working with billing, invoicing, revenue reconciliation, and related financial workflows in collaboration with Finance teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information for audiences ranging from technical teams to senior executives.

  • Strong project and program management capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple enterprise accounts and internal initiatives simultaneously.

  • Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.

  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Experience in advertising, grocery, e-commerce, or retail media is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop growth narratives and revenue-driving strategies for enterprise retail partners is an advantage.

  • Experience managing enterprise accounts collaboratively with sales teams in a partner-facing environment is preferred.

  • Ability to work remotely from Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.

  • Eligibility currently limited to candidates based in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.

  • Base salary range of CAD $151,000–$159,500, depending on permanent work location, experience, skills, and other applicable factors.

  • Eligibility for a new-hire equity grant.

  • Eligibility for annual equity refresh grants.

  • Competitive benefits package aligned with the employee's work location.

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of retail, advertising technology, e-commerce, and enterprise partnerships.

  • Direct exposure to strategic retail media accounts and their advertising growth strategies.

  • Opportunity to influence product development through structured partner feedback and market insights.

  • Flexible working environment designed to support autonomy, collaboration, and connection through remote and in-person interactions.

  • Opportunity to develop scalable account management practices, including playbooks, QBR frameworks, and KPI-management tools.
