Position Summary
The Foreman is responsible for overall supervision of assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, production, and profitability goals are met. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and developing employees on-site while partnering with the Project Manager to schedule, organize, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe performance. The Foreman serves as the field leader, applying expertise to maintain high-quality work, train team members, and drive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Management

  • Review, interpret, and apply contract guidelines, plans, specifications, and project milestones.

  • Plan, schedule, and manage labor, subcontractors, materials, and deliveries in coordination with Project Manager and client.

  • Analyze labor, materials, and costs to establish realistic project expectations.

  • Communicate and coordinate with team members to prevent and resolve issues.

  • Participate in project meetings with clients and subcontractors.

  • Report project performance to Project Manager and relay PM feedback to workforce.

Project Administration

  • Complete all administrative tasks timely and accurately, using PC and project software.

  • Maintain documentation of project activities, safety, and compliance.

Leadership & Culture

  • Mentor, coach, and develop crew members to improve performance and safety awareness.

  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

  • Lead by example to drive high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5โ€“7 years of experience in commercial construction, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

  • Ability to work Mondayโ€“Friday with occasional evenings/weekends; flexible schedule.

  • Reliable transportation for travel to multiple project sites.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (experience may substitute for education).

  • Ability to work in heights, confined spaces, dusty areas, and extreme environmental conditions.

  • Strong willingness and ability to learn new tasks.

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
