Assist in handle escalated customer interactionsProvide an energetic and uplifting experience for team and customersEducate and inform customers of differences between roasts, types of coffee, and other productOperate and manage cash register and card payment systemsEffectively communicate with coworkers and customersCash handling – consolidating tips into the cash drawer, counting, and balancing the cash drawer after each shift, recognizing counterfeit moneysEquipment troubleshooting – should be knowledgeable about all equipment used, and capable of basic troubleshootingComplaint resolution – handling guest feedback in a productive and positive wayProduct integrity – managing the rotation, expiration, and changing over of all products to ensure all product is excellentUpholding Java House policies and proceduresInventory Management Managing Labor – ensuring shift is running smoothly and working through all priorities (including but not limited to customer support, cleaning, cash management, inventory management, additional store manager direction, etc)

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintain regular attendanceAvailability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidaysMeet store operating policies and standardsEngage with and understand our customersAvailable to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
