Job Description
Location: Jacksonville, FL — Onsite five days per week
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 annually
NLP Logix is seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of client-facing software, data, analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
You will work at the intersection of clients and technical teams—turning commitments into actionable plans, keeping work moving, identifying risks early, and ensuring stakeholders understand what is happening and what comes next.
This is not a role focused solely on running Agile ceremonies. The right person will be comfortable facilitating Agile teams while also managing timelines, dependencies, risks, client expectations, and overall project execution.
What You’ll OwnManage the day-to-day execution of assigned client projects, workstreams, or technical teams from planning through delivery.
Translate project commitments into clear milestones, priorities, sprint goals, owners, and next steps.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Track and actively manage risks, issues, blockers, dependencies, decisions, and action items.
Coordinate work across Product, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Client Success, Release Management, and other stakeholders.
Lead internal and client-facing status discussions, providing clear updates on progress, risks, timeline impacts, and decisions needed.
Communicate concerns and potential delays early—even when the information is incomplete or the message is difficult.
Maintain accurate project and delivery information in Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
Help teams establish practical delivery rhythms, improve accountability, and continuously strengthen how work gets done.
Adapt plans and priorities as client needs, project requirements, and business conditions evolve.
3+ years of experience managing technology, software, implementation, data, analytics, or similar projects.
Experience owning project delivery—not only facilitating Scrum ceremonies or maintaining project documentation.
Experience working directly with clients, business leaders, or senior stakeholders.
Working knowledge of Agile practices, Scrum ceremonies, sprint execution, backlog management, and the software development lifecycle.
Experience managing multiple projects, teams, or workstreams with competing and changing priorities.
Strong understanding of project delivery fundamentals, including scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action tracking.
Ability to drive decisions, clarify ownership, and maintain momentum without relying on formal authority.
Strong communication, facilitation, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where processes may still be evolving and information is not always complete.
Experience in professional services, consulting, client implementation, or another client-facing technology environment.
Experience supporting software development, engineering, data science, analytics, AI, machine learning, or cross-functional product teams.
Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or comparable delivery tools.
Experience working in financial services, healthcare, government, or another regulated industry.
Agile, Scrum, CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or a similar certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field.
NLP Logix is a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift, information may be incomplete, and team members are expected to communicate early, ask questions, and take ownership.
This role is a strong fit for someone who:
Creates structure without needing every process to already be defined.
Moves work forward while continuing to clarify details.
Communicates risks and bad news early instead of waiting until a deadline is missed.
Is willing to jump in, solve problems, and work outside narrow role boundaries when needed.
Balances organization and accountability with flexibility and practical decision-making.
Enjoys working closely with both technical teams and clients.
Work directly on technology and data-driven initiatives involving software, analytics, AI, and machine learning.
Take visible ownership of client delivery from planning through execution.
Collaborate closely with technical experts, business leaders, and client stakeholders.
Help shape practical delivery processes in an environment where your ideas and follow-through can make an immediate impact.
