If you're the kind of person who holds themselves and their team to a high standard and does it with energy and consistency, keep reading.WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team- Ensure consistent, high-quality food production and presentation across all menu items- Oversee daily kitchen operations from open to close- Drive menu planning and contribute fresh ideas that align with our natural, whole-food philosophy- Manage ordering, inventory, and food cost controls to minimize waste and maximize quality- Uphold rigorous food safety and sanitation standards at all times- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment- Train and cross-train team members, setting clear expectations and holding people accountable- Collaborate with store leadership to support the overall success of the market- Report to the Store Owner and RWM Leadership TeamWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:- 5+ years of kitchen management experience- A proven track record of leading teams and maintaining quality standards under pressure- Strong knowledge of food prep, food safety, and kitchen operations- Experience with ordering, inventory management, and food cost controls- A natural leader who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and holds the team to a high standard- Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented- A genuine passion for real food, natural ingredients, and doing things the right way- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work (including weekends as needed)- Must communicate through company-designated platforms including Homebase and emailWHAT YOU GET:- $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience- Paid Time Off- Company Vision and Dental Plans- 25% – 50% RWM employee discount- Free shift meal- No overnight shifts, our kitchen closes at 3pm (closed all day Sundays)- Holiday closures- A tight-knit team where your work actually matters- Room to grow, most of our leads and managers started on the floor- The chance to be part of something real: a local, independent market that has been a Columbia institution for over 50 yearsRosewood Market is an equal opportunity employer.
