This remote Senior Accountant role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting and financial reporting activities for a growing healthcare-focused business unit. You will play a central role in maintaining accurate financial statements and supporting a reliable monthly close process. The position combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to contribute to FP&A and broader corporate finance initiatives. You will work closely with finance stakeholders across the organization to ensure revenues, expenses, cash activity, and reconciliations are accurately recorded. Strong technical accounting expertise and attention to detail will be essential to the role. This is a collaborative environment where clear communication and continuous process improvement are highly valued.

• Own the monthly close process, including revenue and commission calculations, journal entries, and coordination with the central finance team.
• Analyze financial fluctuations and trends compared with prior periods, identifying relevant variances and providing clear explanations.
• Record cash activity on a daily or semi-daily basis and monitor cash movements.
• Prepare and issue monthly customer invoices.
• Manage cash application and monitor accounts receivable activity.
• Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Support annual financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Contribute to FP&A activities and broader corporate finance initiatives as needed.
• Take on additional accounting and finance projects under the direction of the VP of Finance.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of public accounting experience, or private-company accounting experience with responsibility for full financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting standards, and financial reporting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Collaborative approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or other financial reporting systems is preferred.
• Previous healthcare industry experience is a plus.
