Job Description

Integrated Social Media Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Integrated Social Media Manager based in United States.

This newly created role will lead the development and execution of an integrated social media strategy across owned, earned, influencer, creator, and user-generated content channels. You will shape how a growing global consumer brand connects with audiences, builds advocacy, and translates social engagement into measurable business impact. Working across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, you will create channel strategies that balance storytelling, education, culture, and commercial objectives. You will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Shopper Marketing, Creative, PR, Consumer Insights, Sales, and external agencies. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, giving you significant ownership over a capability that is being built from the ground up. This is an opportunity for an experienced social media leader to influence brand growth in a fast-moving, international environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and lead the integrated global social media strategy across owned, earned, influencer, creator, and user-generated content channels.
  • Build channel-specific strategies and plans across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.
  • Establish content pillars and editorial calendars that balance brand storytelling, product education, consumer engagement, cultural relevance, and business priorities.
  • Lead influencer and creator partnerships across awareness, engagement, advocacy, and conversion objectives.
  • Monitor social, cultural, and platform trends to identify emerging opportunities and continuously evolve the social strategy.
  • Develop community engagement strategies that strengthen consumer relationships, loyalty, and brand advocacy.
  • Measure social performance, identify meaningful insights, and translate data into actionable recommendations for future activity.
  • Manage relationships with agency partners and ensure social initiatives are connected to broader marketing campaigns and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Shopper Marketing, Creative, PR, Consumer Insights, Sales, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated social programs.
  • Support key campaigns, product launches, retailer initiatives, and cultural moments through coordinated social strategies.
  • Act as the internal social media subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and helping stakeholders understand evolving platforms, audiences, and best practices.
  • Take ownership of building new processes, capabilities, and solutions that strengthen the organization's social media presence and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, digital marketing, integrated communications, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategies for consumer-facing brands.
  • Strong understanding of how content, community, creators, influencers, culture, and social platforms work together to drive brand and business outcomes.
  • Experience working across multiple major social platforms, with an ability to adapt strategies to different audiences, formats, and platform behaviors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience using social performance data and insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect social media activity to awareness, engagement, advocacy, and measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of influencer and creator marketing, including partnership development and campaign execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a willingness to remain hands-on with execution.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, evolving environments and bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Naturally curious about social, cultural, and consumer trends, with the ability to identify relevant opportunities quickly.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in FMCG, consumer products, wellness, beauty, baby care, or an agency environment is highly valued.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agency partners.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs, planning sessions, and key meetings.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote position based in the United States.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a newly established social media capability from the ground up.
  • Significant ownership and visibility across marketing, ecommerce, shopper marketing, creative, PR, consumer insights, and sales functions.
  • Individual contributor role with substantial cross-functional and agency leadership responsibility.
  • Opportunity to influence global social media strategy across multiple major platforms.
  • Exposure to international consumer marketing initiatives, product launches, campaigns, retailer programs, and cultural moments.
  • Collaborative environment that encourages ownership, new ideas, and meaningful individual impact.
  • Occasional business travel for planning sessions, key meetings, and other business needs.
  • Salary, healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and additional benefit details were not specified in the source job description.
