Front Desk Clerk in Crandon, Wisconsin at Sokaogon Gaming Enterprise

• Performs all functions necessary for registration and assignment of rooms.
• Checks out guests and receives all room payments.
• At check out time file guest folio with registration form.
• Receives and directs phone calls and messages.
• Make complete reservations and give guests confirmation number.
• Administers wake up calls.
• Communicates with housekeeping on checkouts.
• Prints hotel backup reports upon emergencies.
• Complete cashier close-out process.
• Maintains all related records.
• Assists customers in gift shop as needed.
• Other duties assigned.

Uniform:

Black pants (pocket-less or pockets sewn shut)

• Black shoes (no open toe)

• Provided uniform shirt

• Clean and well-groomed appearance

• Sokaogon Gaming Commission (SGC)-issued Gaming License/ID Badge.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to interact well with the public and co-workers.

· Strong math and counting skills.

· Computer learning ability.

· Ability to follow precise procedures.

· Must have excellent communication skills.

· Must have the ability to multi-task.

· Must be able to demonstrate all aspects of hospitality, professionalism, prompt and courteous service, with extreme attention to detail.

· Must be able to physically perform all aspects of the position i.e., stand for long periods.

UPON HIRE:

• Two forms of ID are required, one of which must be a valid photo ID.
• Successfully pass a background investigation and obtain a valid SGC gaming license.
• Pass required drug and alcohol screening in accordance with SGEC Drug & Alcohol Policy.
• Pass a Title 31 compliance test within 30 days of hire.
• Successfully complete a 60-day probationary period.
• Native American preference is granted according to P.L. 93-638.
