Buck & Rider is a Seafood Eatery and Oyster Bar, known for the freshest seafood in Phoenix, our culinary program is constantly evolving, and we are growing our sushi program to bring guests an exceptional dining experience.We are looking for talented and motivated sushi chefs—whether you’re highly experienced or eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment. Our sushi chefs showcase skill, precision, and artistry while working in front of guests, delivering an unforgettable raw fish and sushi experience.
The Bar Prep team plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in delivering a seamless, high-quality bar experience. Working early morning shifts, this position ensures the bar is fully prepped, stocked, and ready for service by executing all daily juice preparation, batching, and ingredient setup. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and takes pride in precision, consistency, and supporting a high-performing bar team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all fresh juices daily (citrus, specialty blends, and seasonal ingredients) to maintain quality and consistency
- Batch cocktails and house mixes according to standardized recipes and volume needs
- Prep garnishes (cut fruit, herbs, dehydrated items, etc.) with attention to presentation and freshness
- Organize and stock bar prep stations for service readiness
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across prep areas, tools, and storage
- Accurately label, date, and rotate all prepared ingredients (FIFO standards)
- Monitor par levels and communicate inventory needs to bar leadership
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries related to bar operations
- Support bartenders and barbacks by ensuring all prep items are readily available before service
- Uphold consistency in recipes, measurements, and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace at all times
