We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our childcare and preschool team in Mansfield, MA.
This opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about infant development, relationship-based caregiving, and creating a warm, engaging daycare classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.
We are specifically seeking candidates who hold active Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification and have experience working in an infant classroom, daycare center, childcare center, or early childhood education setting.
As an Infant Teacher at Magical Beginnings, you will play an essential role in supporting developmental milestones through nurturing interactions, sensory learning, individualized care, and strong family communication during the most important stages of early childhood development.
- EEC Infant Toddler Certification or CDA required
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
- A nurturing demeanor and a love for infants and their development
- A minimum of one year of experience working in an infant classroom, practicing safe feeding/sleeping, diapering, sanitation, and sensory and motor development support
- Providing attentive, nurturing care for infants in a licensed childcare and early childhood education setting
- Supporting infant development through sensory play, tummy time, music, language-rich interaction, movement, and age-appropriate learning activities
- Creating a warm, engaging, and safe infant classroom environment that promotes emotional security and developmental growth
- Following individualized feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care routines while maintaining open communication with families
- Building strong relationships with parents and guardians through daily updates, milestone tracking, and positive family engagement
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness, sanitization, and organization in accordance with Massachusetts EEC regulations and health and safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with all safe sleep policies, teacher-to-child ratios, and childcare licensing requirements
- Supervising infants at all times while maintaining a calm, responsive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
- Collaborating with Assistant Teachers and center leadership to support a positive, team-oriented childcare environment
- Assisting with lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate infant curriculum and caregiving practices
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through consistent, responsive care and play-based learning experiences
