Job Description
The customer service representative’s duties include scheduling appointments, greeting clients, issuing invoices, and receiving payments after consultations. Customer Service Representatives are required to inform the manager of any escalations that may arise, clarifying payment options and processing payments.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handling difficult clients/situations and escalating to management when appropriate
- Greeting and interacting with clients in a friendly, professional, efficient manner
- Receiving and managing incoming calls
- Processing payments
- Relaying prescription information to clients as directed by the pharmacist or pharmacy technician
- Maintain and update client records and patient information
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
- Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and courteously
- Maintaining and promoting a clean/organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Personable, empathic disposition
- Capacity to work well during distressing situations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and walk intermittently
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of one year previous administrative experience, preferably within a veterinary or healthcare setting
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with veterinary software is advantageous
