Operational Excellence Specialist in The Woodlands, Texas at Trecora LLC

Support operational excellence initiatives through data analysis, process improvement, performance reporting, auditing, training, and project execution. Work with site and functional teams to improve consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness throughout the organization.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across all company locations.
• Assist with process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action development.
• Document and maintain standard work processes.

• Develop and maintain operational performance reporting.
• Create and update Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collect, validate, and analyze operational data.
• Support KPI tracking and performance reviews.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Support ERP and business system optimization.
• Assist with data validation and process standardization.
• Support user training and adoption efforts.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.

• Participate in operational excellence audits.
• Conduct process compliance reviews.
• Document findings and recommendations.
• Track corrective actions to completion.

• Support commercialization and project execution efforts.
• Maintain project schedules and action item tracking.
• Assist with implementation of new processes and systems.
• Collect and analyze project performance data.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• 1–5 years of manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, data analytics, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems preferred.
