The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, particularly within the CDMO space, and a passion for deeply understanding their clients’ business and advancing medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements and internal processes.

• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration (R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing) to develop and deliver customized xenograft-based solutions.

• Translate xenograft platform capabilities (e.g., decellularization, fixation, collagen processing) into customer-specific value propositions.

• Identify and shape opportunities where xenograft materials can replace or outperform alternative biomaterials, driving differentiation for customers.

• Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company and high levels of client satisfaction.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

• Prepare for and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to promote our capabilities and expand our client base.

• Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance to senior management.

• Leverage CRM tools to maintain documentation of account planning, prospects, and pipeline development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the medical device industry, including at least 2 years within a medical device CDMO environment.

• Deep understanding of xenograft biomaterials, including fresh tissue, fixed tissue, and collagen (fibrillar, solubilized, or formulated), and their applications in medical devices.

• Experience working with xenograft sourcing, processing, or manufacturing (e.g., decellularization, sterilization, or collagen processing).

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with xenograft-based product development or commercialization within a CDMO or OEM environment.

• Familiarity with regulatory and quality considerations specific to xenograft biomaterials.

• Established network of contacts within the medical device industry.

• Clinical expertise in focus market segments: Spine, Sports and Orthopedics, Cardiac, or Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Why Join Us:

• Opportunity to shape and scale a leading xenograft CDMO platform across fresh tissue, fixed tissue, and collagen biomaterials.

• Collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Competitive salary and benefits package.

• Chance to make a significant impact on patient outcomes through advanced biomaterial solutions.
