Senior Technical Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager based in Spain.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will drive the vision, strategy, and evolution of a highly technical platform at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and enterprise technology. This role is ideal for a former engineer who enjoys remaining hands-on while shaping product direction and delivering meaningful business outcomes. You will work closely with engineering, data science, and business teams to create scalable solutions that solve complex operational challenges for technical users. From experimenting with APIs and AI models to defining long-term platform strategy, you will play a pivotal role in influencing both product innovation and customer success. Operating within a collaborative and globally distributed environment, you will have the opportunity to directly impact product quality, developer experience, and platform adoption across international markets.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core technical platform, balancing immediate delivery priorities with long-term architectural objectives.
  • Actively use and validate platform capabilities through hands-on experimentation, testing APIs, deploying environments, identifying issues, and improving the overall user experience.
  • Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and AI-driven solutions to evaluate new opportunities and validate product ideas before development investment.
  • Develop and maintain reference applications, technical demonstrations, and infrastructure templates that support product adoption and platform reliability.
  • Define product requirements, success metrics, technical scopes, and priorities in collaboration with engineering and technical leadership teams.
  • Conduct ongoing research and user discovery with developers, data engineers, DevOps professionals, and other technical stakeholders to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, data science, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Champion developer experience by identifying and addressing friction points related to integrations, deployment workflows, platform usability, and documentation.
  • Represent the product externally through technical communities, customer engagements, and industry discussions when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Previous professional experience as a software engineer, with hands-on knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product management, product leadership, or a comparable role within highly technical environments such as AI platforms, data products, cloud infrastructure, or B2B SaaS solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, cloud environments, platform architecture, and developer tooling.
  • Experience building prototypes, evaluating emerging technologies, and working with AI, machine learning, large language models, or AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and actionable deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities, with a passion for improving product quality and user experience.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, globally distributed teams while managing multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the EMEA region to collaborate with customers and stakeholders on-site.
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and innovation.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI, data, and enterprise technology products with real-world impact.
  • High level of ownership and influence over product strategy, innovation, and technical direction.
  • Exposure to complex international projects across multiple industries and markets.
  • Collaborative and globally distributed work environment with talented multidisciplinary teams.
  • Significant opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and technical learning.
  • Flexible and remote-friendly working environment designed to support autonomy and accountability.
  • Direct engagement with customers, technical communities, and industry-leading technology initiatives.
  • International travel opportunities across the EMEA region.
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and expertise.
