Grote Mitsubishi / Grote Automotive Service Center is hiring an A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician in Fort Wayne.

This role is for an experienced technician who can diagnose and repair passenger vehicles across multiple makes and models. Grote is an OEM Mitsubishi dealer, but our shop is not limited to Mitsubishi-only work. We have a strong recon and customer-pay service mix, which creates variety and production opportunities.

Pay:

$18-$40 flat rate based on experience, diagnostic capability, and production ability, plus a tool incentive program based on flagged hours.

• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers, providing clear explanations of diagnostic findings and repair needs.

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues across multiple makes and models.
• Own tools are required.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, sharing insights and strategies to foster a supportive environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain diagnostic findings and repair needs to service advisors and customers.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and diagnostic techniques.
• Participation in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance expertise and career growth within the company.
• ASE or OEM certifications preferred
• ADAS, alignment, electrical, or drivability experience is a plus
