Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate - Beer Picker. The team members of Frank Beverage Group are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers.
The Warehouse Associate – Beer Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and building customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position ensures product accuracy, maintains warehouse organization, follows safety standards, and supports overall operational efficiency to meet customer delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick beer products using voice-picking technology, warehouse scanners, and other approved systems while verifying product codes, quantities, and packaging to ensure order accuracy.
- Build stable, properly configured pallets in accordance with company palletization, quality, and safety standards.
- Verify products and quantities throughout the picking process, identify and report inventory discrepancies, and notify supervision of missing, damaged, or unreadable location labels.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment, complete required equipment inspections, and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing shrink wrap, pallets, breakage, and debris, and by properly handling damaged product in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with loading, replenishment, inventory-related tasks, and other warehouse operations as needed to support overall workflow and customer service objectives.
- Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and operational standards, and participate in cross-training opportunities to support multiple warehouse functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including responsibilities within other warehouse departments as business needs require.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Basic computer, handheld scanner, and warehouse technology proficiency.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow warehouse instructions and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or order-picking experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain company forklift and equipment certifications.
