Trust Compliance Specialist

Location: Louisville, CO (Hybrid)
Compensation: $24–$27 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

At New Direction Trust Company (NDTCO), we help investors build wealth through self-directed retirement accounts and alternative investments. We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and service-focused Trust Compliance Specialist to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of trust account information while supporting regulatory compliance and exceptional client service. You'll collaborate across departments, conduct research, solve complex account questions, and play a key role in maintaining trust operations that impact both our clients and our business.

What You'll DoTrust Operations & Compliance
  • Review and process asset value, share amount, and asset location updates.
  • Review, compile, and retrieve trust documentation for compliance reviews, regulatory requirements, internal audits, and client requests.
  • Process daily approval tasks to ensure proper documentation, compliance standards, and system accuracy.
  • Process account closure requests and other trust maintenance activities.
  • Maintain organization and tracking of documents stored within company vault systems.
Research & Problem Solving
  • Conduct detailed research on assets, account activity, and trust documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies while identifying necessary account updates.
  • Analyze reports and trust data to support operational accuracy and compliance initiatives.
Client & Team Support
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders via phone, video conference, and written correspondence.
  • Respond to inquiries efficiently and provide thoughtful solutions to complex questions.
  • Partner with team members across departments to complete trust-related work accurately and on time.
Data Integrity & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records, tickets, and notes within the CRM system.
  • Ensure account information remains current, complete, and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Support ongoing efforts to improve processes, documentation, and data quality.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with CRM systems or business management platforms.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to team success.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of financial services, investing, trust operations, or banking.
  • Experience in financial services, banking, trust administration, compliance, operations, or a related field.
EducationMinimum Requirement
  • High school diploma or GED.
