This role sits at the intersection of corporate finance, artificial intelligence, and strategic advisory, supporting senior finance leaders in navigating the rapid transformation of finance functions through AI. You will act as a trusted authority, producing high-impact insights on how AI is reshaping forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial operations at scale. The role combines deep research, executive engagement, and thought leadership, with frequent interaction with CFOs and finance transformation leaders. You will analyze emerging AI capabilities—ranging from generative to agentic AI—and translate them into actionable strategies for enterprise adoption. Operating in a highly analytical and client-facing environment, you will influence how global organizations design and implement AI-enabled finance functions. This is a highly visible expert role with significant impact on market thinking and enterprise decision-making.

Accountabilities:
  • Produce authoritative research and insights on the application of AI across corporate finance, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, record-to-report, and transactional processes.
  • Advise senior finance leaders, including CFOs and transformation executives, on AI strategy, maturity, governance, and implementation approaches.
  • Analyze and interpret emerging trends in AI technologies, including generative and agentic AI, and their impact on finance operating models.
  • Develop thought leadership content, presentations, and market insights for publication, client engagements, and industry events.
  • Engage directly with clients through meetings, conferences, and advisory sessions to provide actionable recommendations and strategic guidance.
  • Evaluate AI vendor ecosystems and technology landscapes relevant to finance transformation and enterprise-scale adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal research and sales teams to ensure insights are aligned with market needs and client priorities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of research methodologies, frameworks, and analytical approaches within the practice.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in corporate finance, finance transformation, consulting, or finance technology roles, with strong exposure to AI-driven initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in core finance processes such as FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, record-to-report, and transactional finance operations.
  • Proven experience working with or implementing AI solutions in finance environments, including both vendor tools and custom-built systems.
  • Strong understanding of data science concepts, analytics, and quantitative methods; familiarity with Python or similar tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality research, insights, or executive-level advisory content.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including CFO-level audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and financial concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and develop actionable conclusions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in finance, economics, data, or related fields is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior expert-level roles.
  • Hybrid and remote working flexibility across the United Kingdom and Europe.
  • Access to world-class research resources, data, and AI expertise.
  • Strong professional development opportunities within a global thought leadership environment.
  • Exposure to leading enterprise organizations and senior finance executives worldwide.
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, and performance-based rewards.
