Job Description

AI Enablement Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Enablement Director based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of a company-wide transformation focused on turning artificial intelligence into measurable operational impact across every function. You will lead the full lifecycle of AI use cases, from discovery and scoping through pilot, deployment, and performance measurement. Acting as a bridge between business teams, engineering, and leadership, you will identify where AI can meaningfully improve workflows, efficiency, and cost structure. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on operational execution, with direct responsibility for ensuring AI initiatives deliver quantifiable value. You will help define how AI is adopted, governed, and scaled across the organization in a structured and transparent way. This is a highly cross-functional, high-visibility position for someone who thrives in turning ambiguity into structured execution and business outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and manage the end-to-end AI use case pipeline, including intake, prioritization, scoping, pilot execution, and production rollout across business functions
  • Conduct deep workflow analyses with operational teams to map current-state processes and identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven transformation
  • Design and evaluate solution approaches, including off-the-shelf tools, vendor platforms, prompt-based systems, or custom-built AI solutions in collaboration with Engineering and IT
  • Lead measurement frameworks by defining baselines, tracking performance, and quantifying impact in terms of time savings, cost reduction, and operational efficiency
  • Govern the enterprise AI tool ecosystem, including vendor evaluation, security and privacy assessments, and maintenance of an approved AI tool registry
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, Engineering, and business leaders to ensure safe, scalable, and value-driven deployment of AI initiatives
  • Maintain executive-level visibility into all active AI programs, including status tracking, reporting, and impact measurement
  • Identify organizational change implications early and support leadership in adapting processes, roles, and workflows accordingly
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, transformation, or automation-focused roles
  • Proven experience taking AI, automation, or workflow transformation initiatives from discovery through production deployment
  • Strong understanding of modern AI tools and architectures, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG concepts, and AI vendor ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and map complex business workflows and identify automation and AI opportunities
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes such as efficiency gains, cost savings, or revenue impact
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear executive updates, business cases, and structured documentation
  • Experience in AI governance, tooling oversight, or data-sensitive environments is a strong plus
  • Background in enterprise technology, SaaS, or cloud-based businesses is preferred
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary aligned with U.S. market benchmarks for senior AI leadership roles
  • Equity/RSU participation and long-term incentive opportunities
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Flexible vacation policy and paid parental leave
  • Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility and autonomy
  • Learning and development support for continuous upskilling in AI and emerging technologies
  • Wellness, family support, and additional employee assistance programs.
