HOT SIDE COMMERCIAL KITCHEN SERVICE TECHNICIAN in ORLANDO, Florida at Day & Nite Air Conditioning Service Corp

We are seeking a highly skilled Hot Side Commercial Kitchen Service Technician with CFESA certification to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial cooking equipment for high-volume foodservice operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with major OEM brands and a strong background servicing QSR environments, with Chick-fil-A experience strongly preferred.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hot side commercial kitchen equipment in the field

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

Support and service key equipment including:

Fryers, ovens, grills, holding cabinets, and specialty equipment

Accurately document service calls, parts usage, and labor in service management system

Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal teams

Maintain a high level of professionalism while working in customer-facing environments

Adhere to all safety standards and company policies

Participate in ongoing OEM and technical training

CFESA Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)

Minimum 3–5 years experience servicing hot-side kitchen equipment

Strong mechanical, electrical, and gas troubleshooting skills

Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong customer service and communication skills

Hands-on experience servicing the following manufacturers is highly desired:

Garland

Henny Penny

Alto-Shaam

AJ Antunes (Roundup)

Traulsen (including Thaw Cabinets)

Chick-fil-A service experience strongly preferred

Experience working with national chain accounts and QSR operations is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Ability to bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces

Capable of working in hot kitchen environments
