This role is responsible for shaping, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise compensation programs that directly influence talent attraction, retention, and organizational competitiveness. You will operate at the intersection of HR strategy, data analytics, and business advisory, ensuring compensation practices are both market-aligned and internally equitable. The position requires strong analytical rigor and the ability to translate complex compensation data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in designing salary structures, managing annual compensation cycles, and supporting incentive programs. In addition, you will help drive pay transparency, governance, and compliance across the organization. This is a highly collaborative role where your expertise will directly influence workforce strategy and decision-making.
- Design, evaluate, and manage compensation programs including base pay structures, incentive plans, and bonus frameworks.
- Conduct job evaluations and maintain job architecture, salary structures, and pay grade frameworks aligned with market benchmarks.
- Lead annual merit and compensation review cycles, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with business strategy.
- Perform market pricing, benchmarking, and compensation analysis using external salary survey data and internal equity metrics.
- Analyze compensation trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to HR and business leaders.
- Support financial modeling of compensation scenarios in partnership with Finance and maintain compensation systems (e.g., ADP).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including pay equity and classification standards.
- Advise HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams on compensation decisions, offers, promotions, and pay structures.
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related financial/HR advisory roles.
- Strong experience with job evaluation, market pricing, salary structure design, and compensation program administration.
- Background working in government contracting (GovCon) environments is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems, preferably ADP.
- Strong understanding of compensation laws, pay equity principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; CCP certification or equivalent is a strong plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or global compensation frameworks is an advantage.
- Competitive salary range of $94,700 to $145,000 USD depending on experience and qualifications.
