Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRSA to join our team at Bayside Care Center. Key Responsibilities:
- Support assigned consumers with routine daily care to promote independence in accordance with their recovery plans.
- Use written instructions and modeling techniques to facilitate the development of independent living skills.
- Familiarize yourself with specific direct care interventions outlined in treatment plans or counseling staff guidance.
- Employ crisis prevention and intervention methods to manage difficult behaviors effectively and safely.
- Engage consumers in assessing their performance of independent living skills, utilizing simple surveys or ADL skills questionnaires to evaluate progress.
- Maintain a safe environment for all consumers during their residence at Bayside Care Center.
- Document care activities and consumer progress accurately and timely.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in behavioral health or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in a care or support role preferred.
- Knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow written instructions and modeling techniques.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with individuals with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
