DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a detail-oriented, agriculture minded individual to join our grain team in a hands-on role spanning customer service, grain accounting, merchandising and ERP system support.

What You'll Do:

You'll be the first point of contact for local producers - greeting customers at the scale, issuing tickets, and handling inbound calls with professionalism. From there, your day expands into grain accounting (settlements, invoicing, inventory reconciliation, month-end close), logistics support, (scheduling shipments, coordinating delivery windows), and learning the fundamentals of commodity markets alongside experienced merchandisers. You'll also support our Agris ERP system and related integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and data processing.

You're a Great Fit if You:
  • Are organized, accurate, and comfortable in a fast-moving operational environment
  • Have interest in agriculture commodity markets and grain operations
  • Pick up software systems quickly and enjoy solving process problems
  • Communicate well with farmers, buyers, and internal teams alike
  • Hold a degree in Agribusiness, Accounting, Finance, or a related field - or equivalent experience

What You'll Learn:

This role is structured for growth. Over time you'll gain direct exposure to corn and soybean merchandising, CBOT basis tracking, customer relationship management, and Agris reporting - building toward a broader role in grain merchandising or operations management.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong communication, organized, and driven

PREFERRED SKILLS: Grain or farming experience is a plus! Series 3, Finance coursework

What's in it for YOU?

We value your well-being: Our full range of benefits include medical coverage, vision and free dental, discount Rx plan, life insurance, 401k with 5% match, FSA accounts, dependent care accounts, Telehealth, and pet insurance

We value your time: We offer generous time off, company holidays, and volunteer time off
