Apex Freight Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Logistics Specialist to support the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of our transportation and supply chain operations. In this role, you will manage logistics data, monitor shipment information, identify operational trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and workflow processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with large datasets in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Monitor and maintain transportation, shipment, and inventory data across multiple logistics management systems.

• Review and validate shipping documentation, freight records, and delivery status updates for accuracy and completeness.

• Analyze logistics performance metrics, including transit times, on-time delivery rates, carrier performance, and inventory movement.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management and business stakeholders.

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies by coordinating with warehouse, transportation, customer service, and IT teams.

• Support data migration, system updates, and process improvement initiatives related to logistics software platforms.

• Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational trends.

• Ensure compliance with company data governance policies and industry standards.

• Assist in forecasting, capacity planning, and operational decision-making by providing accurate reporting and data analysis.

• Recommend process improvements that enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, or data analysis.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic data analysis functions.

• Experience working with ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Experience with SQL or business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with EDI transactions and freight documentation.

• Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and transportation operations.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates logistics platforms.
