We are presently searching for our next great Nordic Center Agent & Instructor. If you can provide our guests with an amazing winter experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our team, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
* Plan and host snowshoe & Nordic Ski tours and guided activities for individuals and groups. * Demonstrate and instruct Snowshoe & Nordic Ski (Classic & Skate Ski) activities and techniques. * Monitor Nordic activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. * Patrol Nordic Ski trails to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. * Enforce safety rules and regulations and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. * Maintain Nordic trails, snowshoe trails, skating rink, and sledding areas.
* Assemble supplies and equipment for Snowshoe, Skate & Nordic Ski rentals, lessons. * Maintain and carry out repairs on Nordic sports equipment. * Sell trail passes and handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Discuss and sell retail products.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
* Previous Nordic skiing experience (Skate or Classic) is required. * Possess or willing to obtain a valid CANSI Certification at the start of the season.
* Valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before or at the start of the season.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent physical condition; ability to work in outdoor, adverse weather conditions and perform manual labor. * To meet seasonal demands, you may be required to assist in other departments as needed.
This is a Seasonal Position; you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (December-April). As a seasonal team member, you may be presented with opportunities to cross train and support in other departments to meet seasonal demands.
