We emphasize operational excellence, compliance, and measurable outcomes that reduce downtime and support safe return-to-work programs.As we continue to grow, we are seeking an engaged and high-performing X-Ray Technician to support our clinical operations and employer partnerships.About the RoleThe X-Ray Technician plays a critical role in delivering timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging services within an occupational health setting. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured, protocol-driven environments requiring technical precision, safety awareness, and strong collaboration with providers.You will work closely with physicians, physician assistants, and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient clinic flow.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Technical DutiesPrepare patients for radiological procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and professionalism.Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as ordered by the provider.Maintain a repeat rate of 2% or less through proper positioning, exposure technique, and equipment handling.Follow all radiation safety standards, ALARA principles, and clinic protocols.Accurately document imaging procedures in the EMR system.Assist providers with imaging review and workflow coordination.Equipment & ComplianceEnsure all radiology equipment is functioning properly and compliant with state and federal regulations.Immediately report equipment malfunctions to the Clinic Supervisor or Center Manager.Maintain required licensure and certifications.Support regulatory compliance including OSHA, state radiologic health regulations, and occupational health standards.Operational SupportMaintain examination rooms and imaging areas in a clean and organized manner.Stock and manage radiology supplies.Request, retrieve, and track imaging records as needed.Support clinic efficiency during peak volume periods.Cross-assist clinical team members when workflow demands.Core CompetenciesAccountability: Takes ownership of outcomes and maintains a high standard of quality and safety.Patient & Employer Focus: Delivers professional, efficient service to injured workers and employer clients.Communicating Effectively: Clearly conveys information to providers, staff, and patients.Decision Making & Judgment: Uses sound clinical and operational judgment in fast-paced settings.Results Orientation: Demonstrates attention to detail and consistent execution of protocols.Adaptability: Thrives in environments with fluctuating patient volume and regulatory requirements.Team Collaboration: Works effectively with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of Limited Scope / Basic / LMRT / NCT Radiologic Technology programActive state licensure (as applicable)Medical Assistant certification (preferred but not required)Experience in occupational health, urgent care, or industrial medicine preferredWorking knowledge of digital radiography systemsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification preferredWork EnvironmentFast-paced occupational health clinicExposure to radiologic equipmentFrequent standing, positioning, and assisting patientsMay support multiple service lines (injury care, surveillance, pre-employment, DOT, etc.)Why Join ProActiveGrowth-focused organizationStructured clinical protocolsEmployer-driven impact modelTeam-oriented work cultureOpportunity to contribute to workplace safety and return-to-work outcomes
