Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Compensation: $33.00-$41.00/HR

Location: Richmond, TX

Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health is responsible for supporting the clinical, operational, and administrative needs of the department. This position provides high-quality nursing care, promotes patient safety, supervises assigned shifts, and ensures that treatment plans, nursing policies, and procedures are consistently followed.

Assess patients within established timeframes and develop appropriate plans of care.

Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and other clinical findings in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Oversee and supervise the assigned shift.

QualificationsEducation

Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Licensure

Current Registered Nurse license in accordance with applicable state regulations.

Certifications

Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

De-escalation certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Requirements:

-Behavioral Health experience

-RN License required

-1 year RN experience

Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred, particularly experience working with:

Chemical dependency

Dual-diagnosis patients

Psychiatric patients

Geriatric patients
