Beach Bum Tanning is seeking an energetic and results-oriented Salon Manager to oversee daily operations at one of our premier tanning and wellness locations. Position Summary:
As the Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall success of the salon, ensuring a positive guest experience, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance customer service, team management, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
Lead and support salon staff in daily operations
Deliver and reinforce exceptional guest service
Recruit, train, and develop team members
Create and manage employee schedules to support business needs
Monitor sales results and implement strategies to increase revenue
Maintain accurate inventory and follow loss‑prevention procedures
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Maintain salon appearance and uphold brand standards
Review performance reports and identify improvement opportunities
Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail, service, hospitality, or sales environment
Ability to work effectively in a team‑driven, fast‑paced environment
2–3 years of successful sales experience
2–3 years of management or supervisory experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
Strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales and operational goals
Passion for maintaining a polished, welcoming store appearance
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; on‑call support required
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and general computer skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Adherence to loss‑prevention and compliance standards
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Prior experience in tanning, beauty, wellness, fitness, or spa services is beneficial but not required

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
Minimum of 3 years of management, supervisory, or leadership experience
