Dogtopia of Longwood is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, passionate Dog Groomer to help us expand our grooming services!

At Dogtopia, we're more than just a dog daycare, boarding, and spa facility. We're a team of dog lovers dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating a safe, happy, and welcoming environment for every pup who walks through our doors.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys building relationships with pet parents, and wants to be part of a supportive team where their skills and creativity are valued.

• Providing professional grooming services, including breed-specific cuts, full-body haircuts, trims, baths, blowouts, and styling.
• Performing additional spa services such as nail trimming and filing, ear cleaning, brushing, and de-shedding treatments.
• Consulting with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences and their dog's individual needs.
• Ensuring every dog has a safe, comfortable, and positive grooming experience.
• Recognizing signs of skin irritation, matting, or other concerns and communicating them appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming environment.
• Working alongside our daycare, boarding, and spa teams to provide a seamless experience for our furry guests.
• Helping us grow our grooming services by delivering exceptional results and building lasting relationships with pet parents.

• Professional dog grooming experience required, including proficiency with full-body haircuts and breed-specific styling.
• Strong scissoring, clipper, and finishing skills.
• Experience working with dogs of various breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments.
• Knowledge of safe grooming techniques, proper handling, and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage grooming appointments efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
• A dependable, positive, team-oriented attitude.
