This role is centered on delivering high-quality remote technical support for major home appliances across a well-known portfolio of brands.
You will assist customers and field technicians through voice, chat, email, and video channels to diagnose and resolve complex appliance issues.
The position requires strong technical reasoning to interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and diagnostic documentation.
You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless customer experience by providing accurate troubleshooting guidance and repair solutions.
The role also involves collaboration with engineering and quality teams to report recurring issues and improve product performance.
It is a fully remote position requiring a structured home office setup and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced support environment.
- Provide advanced technical support for installation, diagnosis, and repair of major home appliances across multiple communication channels (voice, chat, email, video).
- Interpret and apply technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, service manuals, and product specifications to resolve complex issues.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring technical problems and communicating insights to engineering and quality teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance customer experience and ensure consistent resolution quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cases while handling confidential technical and customer information.
- Deliver support within scheduled shifts and adapt to evolving service demands in a remote work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of hands-on appliance repair experience.
- 2+ years of technical support experience in electrical, mechanical, or thermodynamic systems related to appliance diagnostics.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service literature.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in Canadian French and English.
- Experience in customer service or call center environments is highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Trade school or associate degree in a related technical field is a plus.
- Competitive annual salary range: $73,000 – $92,000, based on experience and qualifications.
