About the Role:
The Sushi Cook is responsible for preparing menu items as requested by customers, stocking and maintaining sushi prep station, and keeping a clean, organized workspace during and after service. This role is essential to delivering the high-quality, globally inspired food items LoLa 41 is known for, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You’ll Do:
Prepare food items to standard
Stock and maintain all sushi preparation stations
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization during and after service
Follow health, safety, and HACCP standards
Assist in high-volume production while maintaining consistency and quality
Support the BOH team and promote a positive, professional kitchen culture
Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:
Previous experience with sushi and fresh fish prep preferred
Ability and stamina to lift and carry heavy items routinely
Commitment to work 5–6 days per week
Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling
Knowledge of food prep, cooking and sushi preparation, and kitchen safety protocols
