Our client is looking for an accounting professional who understands that construction accounts payable is much more than processing invoices. This role requires someone with a solid foundation in construction accounting who can manage vendor compliance, job costing, and payment processes while growing into broader accounting responsibilities. • Process approximately 300 construction-related invoices per month.

• Manage the full construction accounts payable process.

• Review and maintain vendor compliance documentation, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and lien waivers.

• Perform accurate job cost coding for construction projects.

• Track and administer paid-when-paid payment requirements.

• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Assist with month-end accounting processes as responsibilities expand.

• Support construction accounting functions beyond transactional accounts payable.

• Participate in the continued implementation and optimization of Procore.

• Grow into additional accounting management responsibilities over time.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience.

• Construction accounting experience is required.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Construction job cost accounting

  • Lien waivers

  • Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

  • Paid-when-paid payment processes

  • Vendor compliance

  • Construction accounts payable workflows

• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is preferred.

• Experience with Procore is a significant advantage.
