This role sits at the center of a mission-driven consulting environment focused on public health and government partnerships. You will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, coordinating proposal development, and strengthening the systems that support business growth. The position blends research, writing, project coordination, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will help track and shape strategic pursuits across multiple public sector opportunities nationwide. The work directly contributes to expanding access to evidence-based public health programs that impact communities. In this role, you will support end-to-end business development operations, helping ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality proposal submissions while strengthening internal systems that drive growth.
- Manage and organize the business development pipeline by tracking opportunities, maintaining schedules, and ensuring all deadlines and materials are up to date.
- Monitor procurement platforms and identify relevant public sector opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
- Support proposal development by coordinating timelines, assembling materials, editing documents, and ensuring compliance with RFP requirements.
- Maintain and improve BD tools, including templates, content libraries, case studies, and historical proposal archives.
- Conduct research on agencies, competitors, and market opportunities to support positioning and strategic pursuit planning.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication across teams during active proposal cycles to ensure alignment and execution efficiency.
- Track key business development metrics and contribute to reporting that informs strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational capability, attention to detail, and experience supporting structured business development or consulting processes, particularly in public sector or mission-driven environments.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development coordination, project management, consulting, or similar roles.
- Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field.
- Strong experience reviewing and interpreting RFPs and managing proposal workflows or CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing and document preparation abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong organizational and process management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
- Familiarity with public health, government procurement, or grant-based work is a strong plus.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $79,040 to $89,440, depending on experience and internal equity
