This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales and deep technical consulting, where you act as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing customers evaluating complex DevOps and software delivery solutions. You will partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, shape solution strategy, and demonstrate product value across CI/CD, security, and software development workflows. The environment is highly collaborative and customer-facing, requiring both strong technical fluency and the ability to translate architecture into clear business outcomes. You will lead demos, proof-of-concepts, and RFP responses while guiding enterprise stakeholders through evaluation and adoption. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly influences deal success, customer confidence, and long-term platform adoption. You will also play a key role in ensuring smooth handoffs into implementation and customer success teams.
- Partner with Account Executives to drive new business and expansion opportunities through technical pre-sales support across enterprise accounts.
- Lead discovery sessions with customers to understand business, technical, and operational requirements and translate them into tailored solution approaches.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly articulate business value, technical architecture, and integration capabilities.
- Manage and respond to RFPs and RFIs with high-quality technical documentation aligned to customer needs and procurement requirements.
- Design and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) that validate technical fit, demonstrate value, and support deal progression.
- Provide deep technical guidance across CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, cloud environments, and security considerations.
- Act as a trusted advisor on Salesforce development, system integrations, and enterprise software delivery best practices.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to customer success by aligning stakeholders on implementation approach and use cases.
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales engineering role.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce development and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals and secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with scripting or automation using Python, Golang, or similar languages.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $175,000 – $200,000 depending on experience
