Senior Cloud Architect, Delivery in Spain at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect, Delivery based in Spain.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing technical role within a global cloud engineering organization focused on helping enterprises design, optimize, and scale advanced cloud and AI/ML solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to engineering, architecture, and FinOps teams, translating complex business challenges into secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures. The role combines deep hands-on engineering with strategic consulting, supporting customers through discovery, design, implementation, and optimization phases. You will work closely with distributed teams and account stakeholders to improve cloud performance, reliability, and operational maturity. A strong focus is placed on AI/ML and Generative AI workloads on AWS, including production-grade deployment and optimization. Beyond customer delivery, you will also contribute to reusable engineering patterns, internal tooling, and product feedback loops that scale impact across the organization.

• Lead the design and implementation of production-grade cloud and AI/ML solutions, primarily on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers, supporting optimization of reliability, performance, security, and FinOps outcomes.
• Translate complex customer requirements into well-architected cloud solutions, including HA/DR, IAM, networking, and observability patterns.
• Deliver structured engagements such as architecture reviews, cloud optimization assessments, security posture evaluations, and GenAI workshops.
• Support production AI/ML workloads, including model deployment, scaling, monitoring, and cost optimization for GenAI and LLM-based systems.
• Collaborate with account teams to drive adoption, customer success, and continuous improvement across the installed base.
• Convert field learnings into reusable assets such as Terraform modules, templates, playbooks, and automation frameworks.
• Provide technical feedback to product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities and drive roadmap evolution.
• Build internal expertise through documentation, enablement sessions, and knowledge sharing across global engineering teams.
• Leverage cloud intelligence platforms to create actionable insights, automation, and optimization opportunities for customers.

• 4+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based AI/ML and production-grade distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS services, including hands-on experience with AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Proven experience deploying and scaling GenAI workloads, including LLM fine-tuning, inference optimization, and agent-based architectures.
• Solid understanding of MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, data pipelines, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures using services such as AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, and API Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lake Formation.
• Ability to design secure, resilient, and highly available systems with strong understanding of IAM, KMS, and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (especially GCP) to support architectural reasoning and integration decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into business value for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset with experience working in customer-facing, remote, and globally distributed environments.
• Nice to have: AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or Machine Learning Specialty), experience with Hugging Face, RLHF, AI governance frameworks, or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK).
