VP, ISO Channel Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, ISO Channel Sales based in the United States.

This is a senior executive role responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing a high-performing ISO partnership ecosystem within the payments industry. The position focuses on developing relationships with established Independent Sales Organizations and driving growth across low-risk, card-not-present merchant portfolios. You will define and execute the channel strategy, ensuring strong alignment across Risk, Operations, and Finance to support sustainable and profitable expansion. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership to design scalable partner programs and strengthen commercial performance. Acting as a key driver of revenue growth, you will oversee partner onboarding, portfolio health, and long-term ISO engagement. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly cross-functional, with significant influence on overall business direction.

Accountabilities
  • Define and execute the end-to-end ISO channel strategy across mainstream partners and low-risk CNP verticals
  • Source, recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with Independent Sales Organizations
  • Design ISO programs including pricing structures, residual models, SLAs, and onboarding frameworks
  • Partner closely with Risk, Finance, and Operations to establish underwriting standards, compliance rules, and operational workflows
  • Monitor key performance metrics including volume, approval rates, fraud, chargebacks, attrition, and profitability
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for the ISO channel
  • Ensure ISO partners comply with internal policies, card network regulations, and industry requirements
  • Lead and scale a growing ISO channel team aligned with business expansion goals
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in payments, with strong exposure to ISO channel sales or partnership management
  • Deep understanding of card-not-present processing, fraud, chargebacks, and underwriting frameworks
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with Risk, Operations, and Finance teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to evaluate and optimize program economics and margins
  • Demonstrated leadership experience building and scaling teams or partner ecosystems
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and performance management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including executive-level interaction
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments within the payments industry
