Role Overview
Working with the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers, the Project Coordinator supports the delivery of drainage rehabilitation projects using CIPP/CIPR technologies. Working closely with the Project Manager and Operations Team, the role assists in planning, coordination, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
The position requires strong organisational skills, proactive communication with stakeholders, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while supporting the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans in coordination with the Operations Team.Support the definition of project scope including drainage repair requirements, locations, and timelines for CIPP/CIPR installations.Help coordinate activities between site teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure efficient project delivery.Stakeholder Communication
Assist with communication between clients, local authorities, site teams, and affected residents.Support the Project Manager in ensuring that works are delivered with minimal disruption to local communities.Provide timely updates to internal teams and stakeholders regarding project progress.Site Assessments & Preparation
Support site inspections and surveys to identify potential risks, constraints, or logistical challenges.Assist in gathering site data to support planning and operational decisions.Help ensure site readiness prior to mobilisation of works.Resource & Logistics Support
Assist the Operations Team with the coordination of resources including:LabourEquipmentMaterialsSubcontractorsMonitor resource utilisation and report any constraints or requirements to the Project Manager.Risk Management
Assist in identifying potential project risks including:Ground conditionsWeather impactsUtility conflictsSite access restrictionsSupport the implementation of mitigation measures to minimise disruption to project progress.Budget & Commercial Awareness
Assist the Project Manager and Commercial Manager with project cost tracking.Support monitoring of project expenditure including labour, materials, and equipment usage.Help identify potential cost variances and report accordingly.Schedule Monitoring
Assist with maintaining project schedules and tracking progress against programme milestones.Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to ensure works remain on schedule.Escalate potential delays to the Project Manager.Quality Assurance
Support quality checks during installation activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.Assist with inspections and documentation relating to installation quality and project delivery.Help ensure the integrity of repaired drainage systems.Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
Support the implementation of company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies on all projects.Assist in ensuring works are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and company safety standards.Promote safe working practices across all project activities.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation including:Site assessment recordsProgress reportsInspection recordsProject changes or variationsSupport the preparation of reports for internal management and clients.Client Support
Assist in maintaining positive client relationships through professional communication and responsiveness.Support the Project Manager in ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.Continuous Improvement
Support the identification of opportunities to improve project processes and operational efficiency.Contribute to lessons learned reviews following project completion.Post-Project Support
Assist with post-project reviews and documentation.Support evaluation of project performance and outcomes to inform future project delivery.Skills & Experience
Essential

Experience within drainage, utilities, civil engineering, or trenchless technologyKnowledge of CIPP / pipe rehabilitation techniquesExperience working within water industry frameworksPersonal Attributes
