Job Description

*Summary*



The instructor will be the head boot camp class teacher for scheduled boot camp classes. The qualifying candidate must have at least 1 year of fitness class teaching experience and be available evenings, early mornings, and weekends. It is important that this instructor is a reliable team player who has passion and motivation to grow in the fitness industry.



*EVERY DAY RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Plans, leads, and conducts 30 minute boot camp exercise sessions, such as low, moderate, and high impact circuit training, provides daily adequate warm-up, exercises, dynamic stretching, and cool down static stretching.
* Responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning equipment after each session.
* Advises and assists clients on any upcoming special programs, nutrition challenges, races..etc.
* Provides clear studio procedures and policies that are expected of all clients.
* Answer client questions and give appropriate feedback regarding their own personal goals and progress after each session if needed.
* Provide proper communication with clients as needed.
* Ensure that all safety and injury policies/procedures are followed each session; report any accidents or injuries as necessary.
*JOB REQUIREMENT* :
* High school diploma or GED
* A minimum of 1 year experience directly related to the requirements listed above.
* Group Fitness Certification - Required
* CPT certification such as, ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, or AFFA.
* The ideal should have experience in health and fitness, exercise science, personal training/or wellness.
*SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:*
* Very flexible with hours
* Strong communication skills and work ethic.
* Able to work with a wide range of personas.
* Reliable/team player
* Must be experienced with first aid procedures
* Knowledge of fitness training and techniques pertaining to boot camp.
\*\*Must obtain CPR/AED Certification within 1 month of hire.



*WORKING CONDITIONS:*
* Strenuous physical work and activity is required for this positions.
* Must be physically fit to demonstrate exercises during each session.
