HR Generalist About Us Madison Medical Sports & Wellness is a physician-led, AI-forward multidisciplinary practice delivering premium out-of-network care across 15+ specialty service lines — sports medicine, regenerative therapies, IV infusion, hormone optimization, allergy treatment, and our Athletic Recovery Center. We're scaling aggressively and investing in the people who will help drive that growth alongside us. About the Role Madison Medical is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing, physician-led multidisciplinary platform. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this is a highly administrative role responsible for payroll, benefits, and workers' compensation administration on the Paychex platform, along with owning the employee onboarding and offboarding process from start to finish. This role will also provide assistant-level support to the Chief People Officer as needed. Experience in a medical or healthcare setting is helpful, including familiarity with tracking provider and clinical staff credentials. What You'll Own • Payroll Administration — Process and manage payroll through the Paychex platform, ensuring accurate and timely pay, tax withholdings, and recordkeeping. • Benefits Administration — Administer employee benefits programs — enrollment, changes, and day-to-day questions — and serve as the primary point of contact for staff. • Workers' Compensation — Manage workers' compensation claims, filings, and carrier communication, ensuring timely and compliant handling of all cases. • Onboarding & Offboarding — Own the full employee lifecycle process, from new-hire paperwork, orientation, and systems setup through offboarding, exit logistics, and final documentation. • Provider & Clinical Credential Tracking — Track and maintain licensure, certifications, and credentialing renewal dates for providers and clinical staff, flagging upcoming expirations proactively. • HR Compliance & Recordkeeping — Maintain accurate personnel files and employment records in compliance with federal and state employment law. • Administrative & Executive Support — Act as an administrative resource to the Chief People Officer, including scheduling, correspondence, and special projects as needed. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR administrative role • Hands-on experience with Paychex (Paychex Flex) for payroll and HR administration required • Demonstrated experience administering employee benefits and workers' compensation programs • Strong working knowledge of onboarding and offboarding processes and general HR compliance • Experience in a medical, healthcare, or clinical environment helpful • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail; comfortable in a fast-paced, highly administrative role • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / PayChex Flex/ AI Tools Compensation & Benefits • Salary range: $60,000–$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience • Comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and paid time off • Direct working relationship with executive leadership as part of a lean, high-trusted People team • Opportunity to grow with an expanding, physician-led multidisciplinary healthcare organization Equal Employment Opportunity Madison Medical Sports & Wellness is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
