Media & IT Specialist

Driven Services, LLC — Lipan, TX (with regular travel to branches in Midland, Abilene, and other locations) Local candidates strongly preferred; remote considered for the right candidate within driving distance of our branches

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

Driven Services is hiring a full-time Media & IT Specialist to work directly with our IT & Technology Lead. This is a creative-first role: you'll be the videographer, photographer, editor, and designer behind the Driven brand — our marketing, training content, social media, signage, and company events — while growing into day-to-day tech support that keeps our people and devices running.

We're looking for someone with strong creative skills first. If you already have IT experience, that's a great bonus — but it's not required. Our Technology Lead came up the same way, media first and tech second, and you'll be trained hands-on (with modern AI tools to help) on everything from Mac setup to network troubleshooting. AI can help a lot with the IT side of this job. It can't give you an eye for framing a shot, cutting a story together, cleaning up audio, or making a graphic look right — those are the skills we're hiring for first.

Heads up on the ramp-up: the first month or so is IT-heavy, roughly a 50/50 split between media and IT while we clean up and tighten our systems. This period doubles as your hands-on training window. After that, the role settles into the 60–70% media / 30–40% IT split described below.

We're a hard-working Texas field-services company, and culture fit matters as much as the portfolio. We're looking for someone driven, dependable, and eager to learn — not someone waiting to be told what to do.

Responsibilities

Media & Marketing (60–70% of the role)

  • Shoot and edit video for marketing, training, recruiting, and social media across field sites, equipment, crews, and events (company provides all camera and drone equipment)
  • Photograph equipment, job sites, people, and events for the website, proposals, print, and social media
  • Record, clean up, and mix audio for video, training content, and voiceover
  • Design graphics for social media, print, signage, truck and equipment decals, and internal communications
  • Plan, post, and manage content across company social media channels; track performance and adjust strategy
  • Support marketing projects, recruiting campaigns, and company events with photo and video coverage
  • Maintain a consistent look and voice for the Driven Services brand across every channel

IT Support (30–40% of the role — full training provided)

  • Provide day-to-day tech support for employees across all branches (Mac laptops, iPhones, iPads, printers, conference rooms)
  • Set up, deploy, and maintain devices in the Apple ecosystem (macOS/iOS), including MDM enrollment and employee onboarding/offboarding
  • Support office networking — Wi-Fi, routers/access points, cameras, and general connectivity troubleshooting at each branch
  • Administer everyday business systems: email accounts, user access, password resets, and basic account management
  • Maintain and update company websites; track company equipment and assist with purchases, repairs, and replacements
  • Travel to branch locations as needed for installs, troubleshooting, and employee support
Qualifications

Required — Media Skills

  • Demonstrated experience shooting and editing video (Final Cut Pro, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve) — a reel, portfolio, or social account you've run is required with your application
  • Photography skills: composition, lighting, and editing (Lightroom or similar)
  • Audio editing experience: recording clean sound, cleaning up dialogue, and mixing music/voiceover
  • Graphic design proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, Canva, or similar) for social, print, and signage
  • Experience running a business or brand social media account
  • Ability to work outdoors on active job sites in varying conditions (heat, dust, heavy equipment, busy crews)

Required — General

  • A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through on projects
  • Comfortable with computers and phones day to day, and genuinely interested in learning the IT side (prior IT experience is a plus, but not required — training is provided)
  • Dependable and easy to work with across office staff and field crews
  • Proficient in the Apple ecosystem — comfortable navigating macOS and iOS
  • Able to move between creative and technical work in the same day (e.g., a video edit in the morning, a troubleshooting call in the afternoon)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between branch locations

Preferred

  • Drone experience or FAA Part 107 certification
  • IT support experience of any kind — help desk, device setup, MDM tools (Rippling, Jamf, or similar), Google Workspace, networking, or website platforms
  • Motion graphics / animation experience (After Effects, Motion)
What We Offer
  • Equipment: All camera, drone, audio, and production gear provided — professional equipment, ready to use
  • Tools: Company devices and the tools needed to do the job well, including AI tools that make the IT learning curve easier
  • Training: Hands-on IT training from our Technology Lead, with a clear path to grow into the role
  • Growth: The opportunity to work across everything from field-site tech to the public face of the brand

Full-time | Exempt/Salary Pay: $62,000 – $82,000/year (DOE)
