Dorothy's Market Reclaimer Lead in Mount Sterling, Illinois at Dot Foods

Training New Hires, leading the Reclaimer, Receiving and evaluating the product condition, loading, and unloading trailers, merchandise pricing, stocking shelves, and back up for manager

WHAT YOULL DO

• Loads/unloads product from trailers manually or with forklift equipment
• Work with management to prioritize daily workflow, while assisting with questions from the team
• Identifies and evaluates product condition for reclaim
• The go to person with Retail Pro, I-Series, Dot Shop, and spreadsheets
• Researching item information for errors utilizing multiple systems
• Serve as backup driver for Dorothys Market delivery truck. Requires medical card and a valid drivers license
• Assist in decisions for the Employee Only store
• Assist in UKG for checking employee punches
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to deal with pressure and work with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Effective math skills
• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely
• Strong leadership skills

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Previous grocery or retail experience
• Previous computer experience
• Previous experience in Microsoft Excel

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Schedule:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Hours: 5:30am 4:00pm
• Frozen Warehouse
• Regular moving and lifting of heavy objects and machinery up to 50 pounds
• Excessive standing or walking on concrete as well as working inside and outside in all weather conditions
