Job Description
Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:
The CNC Machinist performs detailed machine setups, has G & M code knowledge, and is able to run parts with little to no supervision.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Operate both Milling and Turning machines to produce production runs of parts.
- Able to read operation sheets and blueprints.
- Able to use caliper and micrometer to check part correctly.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and other staff.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred.
- 1+ years of CNC machine operation
- G & M code fluency
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
- Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Interested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming teams to improve operations.
