STORE GREETER in San Carlos, California at Home Consignment Center LLC

Do you enjoy connecting with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere? As our Store Greeter, you’ll

be the first friendly face customers see when they walk through the door. Your role is all about making a

great first impression by greeting customers warmly, answering basic questions, and helping direct them

to where they need to go.

At the same time, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment by

staying alert, being observant, and reporting any unusual activity to store management. If you’re friendly,

helpful, and have a sharp eye for detail, this is the perfect position for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Greet all customers as they enter and exit the store with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Monitor store entrances and exits for security and safety purposes
• Lock front door and activate store alarm in case of emergency
• Observe customer behavior and report any suspicious activity to management or security personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized greeting area

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High attention to detail; background in Security a big plus (not required)
• Previous customer service or retail experience a plus
• Must be punctual and reliable, and able to work on weekends
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Friendly, patient, and approachable demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
