Basic Qualifications

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Responsibilities for this Position

The Space Force Integration & Test Engineer position, working with our Development Integration & Test (DIT) Team, requires a candidate capable of getting a DOD Secret clearance and has limited experience with system integration and verification, preferably including ground-system testing. Candidates should have the desire to learn software integration concepts, the ability to analyze and break down requirements, and willingness to learn how to develop test plans and test procedure documentation. Responsibilities include test execution, troubleshooting, and developing test automation scripts. Familiarity with satellite operations and ground operations, along with Linux experience, is preferred.

Working successfully within a team, the Space Force Integration & Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas:

  • Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
  • Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
  • Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
  • Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience
  • Clear understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Clear understanding of object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages

This position is fully on-site, OR Hybrid/Flex with a minimum of four days working on-site.

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $72,818.00 - USD $80,782.00 /Yr.
